Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting the second Web3 Happy Hour at Tribeca Social, and what a night! As a proud organizer of WEB3NYC, we were thrilled to be able to bring together like-minded individuals and companies who are passionate about the potential of Web3 technology.
WEB3NYC is a New York City-based collective that organizes in-person and online Web3 meet-ups, powered by Oort and Aves Lair, a New York-based venture capital. Web3 is undoubtedly disrupting industries at unpredictable speeds. With game-changing innovation ahead, we aim to bring the most cutting-edge innovators together in collaboration to discuss the impact of Web3 while bringing ideas to life.
The event kicked off with a networking session, which allowed attendees to connect and exchange ideas with one another. It was amazing to see the diverse mix of people in attendance, from data scientists and investors to entrepreneurs and thought leaders. We were particularly excited to see the enthusiasm and interest in the potential of Web3 technology, and the many ways it can be used to create a more decentralized, inclusive, and equitable future.
As the night progressed, the energy in the room continued to grow. We were thrilled to hear from our speakers Sang Lee, COO at Oort, and Marian Tong, managing partner at Aves Lair, who briefly shared their insights on the future of Web3 and introduced Oort and Aves Lair. This was followed by a series of lightning talks, which gave attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest projects and initiatives from some of the leading companies and organizations in the Web3 ecosystem. The night ended with a surprise DJ performance arranged by Tribeca Social.
All in all, the second Web3 Happy Hour was a huge success. We were thrilled to be able to bring together such a passionate and knowledgeable group of individuals, and we’re already looking forward to the next event. As we continue to explore the potential of Web3 technology, we believe that events like this will play a critical role in driving innovation, collaboration, and growth in the ecosystem.
