OORT DataHub Penalty Policy

Effective Date: Immediately

1. Introduction

At OORT DataHub, we are dedicated to fostering a fair and transparent data collection community. This policy outlines the violations that compromise our platform’s integrity and details the enforcement measures in place to address them. By leveraging advanced AI technology combined with human oversight, we ensure prompt and accurate detection of misconduct, making it highly unlikely for system abuse to go unnoticed.

2. Categories of Violations

Data Integrity Violations

  • Submitting falsified, misleading, or AI-fabricated data
  • Repeatedly uploading identical or irrelevant data
  • Failing to follow data integrity rules means knowingly harming the project

Account & Identity Violations

  • Operating multiple accounts to gain fraudulent benefits
  • Impersonating other users or providing false identity information

Platform Usage Violations

  • Exploiting system vulnerabilities, automation tools, or bots, such as task-sniping scripts, multiple account abuse, or API exploitation to bypass task limits
  • Any actions that compromise the fairness and security of DataHub

3. Rule Violations and Penalties

If a user is found to have violated DataHub’s rules, we record a “Malicious Act” against their account. Repeated misconduct leads to escalating penalties (see Section 5).

We define a contributor as engaging in malicious behavior if the following violations occur:

  1. Uploading non-unique data, such as content downloaded from the internet, AI-generated data, or data that is irrelevant to the task.
  2. Creating more than one account and uploading duplicate data to DataHub from multiple accounts.
  3. Uploading any inappropriate data that could harm our community, including hate speech, pornography, or any acts of violence.

Validator (Rating Data 1–5)

We define a validator as engaging in malicious behavior if the following violations occur:

  1. Failing to be attentive during the validation process and assigning random scores without closely analyzing the data.
  2. Creating more than one account and validating data points that they previously submitted.
  3. Deliberately assigning incorrect scores to harm other users for any reason.

Other Violations

Users engaging in any technical exploits or other serious misconduct outside the above categories will similarly receive malicious act records. Serious or repeated offenses may trigger immediate investigation and potential permanent removal from DataHub.
