When you sign up for OORT DataHub, you’ll receive specific tasks related to data collection and preprocessing. Completing these tasks earns you $OORT tokens and a chance to collect exclusive NFTs. Here’s how to get started and make a direct impact on AI development.

Mission Overview

OORT Compute DataHub is designed around missions aimed at advancing AI for humanity. Currently, our primary mission is supporting NASA’s Mission to Mars by processing Mars surface images collected by the Curiosity Rover. This data is crucial for terrain analysis, essential for future exploration endeavors.

How It Works

Once a mission is launched, specific tasks focused on data collection and preprocessing will be assigned to community members globally. By completing tasks, you earn rewards in the form of OORT tokens and exclusive NFTs.

Getting Started

To begin your journey with OORT DataHub, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Ale Wallet from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Set up your Ale Wallet account. This process takes less than 2 minutes.
  3. Navigate to the ‘DataHub’ section within Ale Wallet app.
  4. Complete the DataHub registration process

What is the registration process?

  1. Verify your email.
  2. Verify your X account (Your Twitter account must be at least 30 days old)
  3. Add your Solana address to receive NFT rewards.
  4. Invite 5 people to vote for you. Gather votes from friends, family, or the active community. The 5 voters must also have their email and X account verified.
  5. Stake 210 OORT inside the DataHub tab. The staked tokens will be released at the end of the program.

Main Dashboard Functionality

Upon completing the setup, you’ll access the main dashboard featuring:

  1. Leadership Board: Compete with active members to climb the ranks and earn higher rewards.
  2. Stake: Increase your leaderboard position and chances of securing Tier 1 NFTs by staking more OORT (max limit: 10k per user).
  3. Collect Votes and Earn: Coming soon (Summer).
  4. Active Tasks: Participate in daily tasks with a 24-hour window for completion.

NFT Rewards

To claim your NFT rewards, ensure you’ve added our Dapp in Solana to your wallet. Search for ‘OORT DataHub’ within the Solana wallet, enter your Solana address, and you’re set. Here’s what you need to know about NFTs:

  • Tier System: NFTs are categorized into Tier 1 and Tier 2.
  • Tier 1 NFTs: Multitude of rewards and utilities for owners.
  • Tier 2 NFTs: Collect 9 Tier 2 NFTs in a specific collection to exchange for one Tier 1 NFT.
  • Trading: You can trade or sell your NFTs to other participants to complete a collection and exchange for a Tier 1 NFT.
